Information, not advice
Islamorada Guide is written to help you plan, and it stops there. Treat nothing on it as legal, financial, boating or real estate advice tailored to you; anyone deciding whether to buy or sell a home should get that from a licensed professional.
Seasons, hours, fees and rules change
We check facts with the agencies and operators that publish them and show when we checked. The Village of Islamorada, FWC, Florida State Parks, event organizers and businesses can still change seasons, hours, fees, dates and rules, so confirm anything important with them before relying on it. Anglers must check current FWC rules before every trip.
Weather, storms and the water
Hurricanes, tropical storms, wind and tides can close parks, launches, the water and the Overseas Highway with little notice. Follow instructions from Monroe County Emergency Management, the Village of Islamorada and NOAA forecasts, and judge conditions on the water for yourself. Nothing on this site takes the place of those warnings.
Links to other sites
Outside links lead to the agencies and organizations behind the facts we cite. What those sites publish is up to them, and we cannot answer for it.
Photographs
Every image here is used on the terms of its own license, as listed on the credits page. If you want to use one elsewhere, those terms apply to you too, including naming the photographer.
Dates, rules and hours can change. The organisers have the final word: Village of Islamorada (official site)
